Some APC Leaders are Not Happy with Buhari (See Reasons)

A storm appears to be brewing in the camp of the All Progressives Congress as some party members are said to be infuriated at President Muhammadu  Buhari’s refusal to dismiss some political appointees.
The APC chieftains are calling  for the immediate sacking of Goodluck Jonathan’s appointees that are PDP members and also asked that they be replaced by members of the ruling party, APC. Also, some party chieftains have also accused the President of not helping the party with money. A chieftain of the APC, who pleaded anonymity told Punch that the party has not benefitted anything from the Buhari government since he assumed power eight months ago.He continued that it would appear the president was rewarding members of the PDP while handling out the punitive measures to members of his own party, the APC. He said, “President Buhari took over on May 29, and has not rewarded APC members. Most of the heads of departments and agencies are members of PDP who worked for Jonathan. Example; Onyeka Onwenu is still DG of the National Women Centre, Mike Omeri is still DG of National Orientation Agency. “A former Special Adviser to Jonathan on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ima Niboro, is still the MD of the News Agency of Nigeria while Sola Omole is still the Director-General of Nigeria Television Authority. “There are almost 100 ambassadorial positions that are supposed to have been filled but these people are still occupying the offices. We are not asking for security or sensitive positions but all these appointments I mentioned are not statutory but merely political. “Our people who worked so hard and spent money on Buhari’s campaign are languishing. There are many competent people in the APC.”. Mr.president is wise, he might knows what he's doing, as he said, he doesn't trust anyone..

Biafran Agitation Was Born In Error And Ignorance — Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has described the agitation for the creation of Biafra as an agitation born in error and ignorance.
He stated this while speaking as a guest speaker at a public discussion on Biafra  which was organised by Nextier Advisory in Abuja today January 15th. “Biafra as a secession issue is dead, and nobody should follow that way. I see it as a platform rather than a cause. The agitation was born in error and ignorance. There is the commercialisation of the Biafran agitation, which is criminal. For example, the issuance of so called Biafran passport which takes on nowhere. Biafra agitation is as an industry; a means of making money. Biafra agitation is a hopeless and futile exercise of which nobody should embark on.”he said Even the governor of Rivers-State, Wike has ordered the arrest of anyone who flags biafra as a result of the violence protest in the state.
